I get so incredibly out of joint when I'm off schedule. Yesterday really wasn't a bad day. In fact, it was a pretty good day. But just the fact that I was off my usual schedule had me spaced and completely disconnected all day long. It's like I can't function without my schedule; my brain doesn't know what to do or focus on next.
There's a fantastic playscape park here in Williamston. It's much better than the one in Georgetown was. The one in Georgetown not only had 4 or 5 exits, but the playscape itself hid them all, so the kids kept leaving and I couldn't see them. And that was before I had Liam! This one only has one exit, so I can sit right by it with Liam, and even if I can't see them all, I know they can't leave without me.
Went to see Old School last night. Funny movie. Interesting theatre. They have "Tempur-Pedic" theatre seats. Yup, that's right, just like the fancy mattresses advertised in the magazines. They've got all this advertising about them up on the walls, and they hand you a brochure about it when you buy your tickets. I don't know about a happy butt, but I did still have a numb butt when I left. So much for modern seat cushion technology. They had Dr. Pepper in the theatre, which was cool because even the theatres in Texas didn't have it, but even better, it was the best DP I've had since moving up here. Most everybody here has their mix wrong on the fountains, but this one was perfect.
