06-02 I Hate Drains

If it weren't for these drains, I could wear underwear and not be worried about my period coming up.
 
If it weren't for these drains, I could wear clothing, even pants, without every step pulling and tearing.
 
If it weren't for these drains, I wouldn't be spending my days in nothing but a nightgown, no panties, having to sit on towels so I don't stink up the furniture.
 
At this point, if it weren't for these drains, I could spend a little more time lying on my side, and spare my poor aching tailbone the current agony of spending my days on it.  It's gotten so bad that I can't sit for more than ten or fifteen minutes at a time before I start squirming.  My hip incisions feel okay to roll over now, but the feeling of the drains pulling when I do that hurts too much.
 
If I can get these drains out tomorrow, I will happily spend another week on my ass doing nothing.  Because I'll be able to do it in considerably more comfort than I can now.

at least you didn't poop on a towel b/c your bowels just didn't work at that point!!!!! omg!!! It was embarrassing!!!! Especially b/c I never felt it coming- the anestisha had me still very numb there. As for the holes- i had 3 freaking big holes 2 closed up after 5 weeks, one is deeper and bigger than yours it's 1'' long and about 3/4'' deep- IT'S DISCUSTING!!! I air dry it for 2-3 hours during the day...spray salt water (i got from the doctor, b/c my bodys too sensitive to antibiotic ointment) and then I pack it with gauze which I must change 2-3 times a day. Now that it's been 5 weeks since- I have seen the difference in leakage of fatty fluids and blood secreting from the area. It's most minimal now but I must change it to keep it dry. Good luck both of you!!!! I'm just a little scared of the scar styaing around, but my surgeon said he'll go back and cut the scar off and leave me with almost nothing using some lazer. BTW I never got the muscles tightened b/c I'm very young to have gotton this done and hope to have kids in a few years- after my deployment, with my fiance. Hope this helped!

Im not sure if u will read this, I read your story I just had a tummy tuck 3 weeks ago and a small part of incision opened. My dr, told me to go to an urgent care or call my primary, no one helped me. I had this surgery due to the fact after giving birth to my last son I continuosly get infected, was ignored by dr.s, had staph, etc.. Im a mother of twins age 9 and baby turned a year in october.They told me to wait til monday to call meanwhile its thursday and its red and infected. I have been cleansing and antibiotic treatment ointment covering it doing the best i can, only no help here. How are you these days? How is everything? Hope u get this..
