I didn't get much in the way of presents, but I did finally get my birthday storm. Yesterday morning, I thought this year was going to fizzle. The forecast wasn't good. But it started snowing yesterday afternoon, and it still hasn't stopped, forecast be damned! Everything is white, and right now it's coming down pretty hard. It's still close to freezing, so the streets and sidewalks melt off whenever it slows down. But still pretty cool.

It was a good birthday, overall. I had to work, but not as hard as I was expecting, and that money will be a nice present. I got to go to brunch at the Sheraton, which is always nice and yummy. I got a birthday cookie-cake, 4 plain long sleeve shirts (identical except for color), and a book. Brian has been looking for new, interesting stuff to read. This one is Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse. It promises to be different, that's for sure. Remember the squirrel-lady from Rat Race? This book opens with something similar.
