More Madness
Today was another one of those crazy days. It probably wasn't all that bad, just felt that way, but that's bad enough.
Yesterday, I had my annual exam with my OB/GYN, Dr. Maser. I was reminded of why I've continued to see him, even though I would never let him near me while pregnant. He doesn't give me trouble. Ever. He does my annual exam, he gives me whatever drugs I want or need, and he leaves me alone. I enjoy talking to his students each year, and I enjoy the snippets of conversation I get with Maser himself as he runs in and out. He's very quick and matter-of-fact. At any rate, the only comment I got out of him about Jarod was when he asked where I had him. I said the Greenhouse, and he said, "Oh, that place," in this very hilarious tone of voice, like all of sudden I was a total fruit loop! Whatever. Apparently my cervix is still mutilated, too. Funny how that never changes; you'd think it would smooth out or something when it dilates.
Today was just crazy. It was rainy, too, which didn't help. At one point, while feeding Jarod, I started surfing for Austin web-cams to put on my desktop so I could have a nice view of home. I want to go home so badly!
