As part of my born-again blogginess, I plan to keep track of my exercise on here. I've been saying I was going to start exercising for several weeks, but I never get around to it. So, I hereby vow to report every single day on my progress (or lack thereof), thus providing a mystical source of incentive to "git 'er done."

I didn't actually exercise today, but I did get outside and active, so that's a start. I was planning to take my bike out for the first time this year, but the rain that wasn't supposed to start until tonight decided to show up early, so that plan got nixed. Hopefully the bike will get out later this week.

I did make progress, though. I watered the flowers and cultivated a large portion of my side garden. My spearmint is coming back, my onions are growing (again!), and I doubled the size of what I used last year.

Next, I hit the shed. I knew I wanted to get my bike out. The problem was twofold: getting to the bike, and then having an easy-access way to put it back in the shed when not in use. I really don't know what we were thinking when we moved all that crap last year. Oh, wait, that's right, we had an obnoxious trash company that wouldn't take it away. We have a nice big pile of broken crap on the curb now, and a big, roomy shed left behind with plenty of easy parking space for my bike, Brian's bike (if you can still call it that), lawn mowers, all the really useful stuff.

I spent about an hour outside running around doing all this stuff, so I figure that counts for today. Tomorrow is looking like it will probably be a yoga day.
